Annual Furnace Preventive Maintenance
and Inspection
Some may refer to this service as a "cleaning." We remove any build-up of soot or dirt in your heating equipment. We also do so much more. We test the combustion efficiency of your system, test for carbon dioxide, and measure smoke concentrations by taking a sample of flue gasses. We also measure the temperature of the flue gasses to make sure that the heat from the oil flames is not escaping up the chimney.
No Cost Tank Inspections
Prior to first time fuel delivery by Shelly Oil, fuel oil storage tanks are subject to visual inspection by Shelly Oil personnel. The inspection serves to identify any obvious visual safety concerns such as leaks, instability, damage or improper piping. Any unsafe conditions are noted in writing and fuel delivery will be scheduled after proper updates or repairs are remedied by Shelly Oil Co. or the homeowner.
